Journalism students from St. Bonaventure University presented a live televised report on Tuesday’s primary elections. The broadcast was a joint project produced by the Jandoli Institute, TAPinto Greater Olean and SBU-TV.
Jandoli School of Communication students Joe Ceraulo and Mike Hogan delivered news and analysis of the primaries in Idaho, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, North Dakota and Washington.
Richard Lee, a Jandoli School associate professor and executive director of the Jandoli Institute, host edthe program. Jandoli School lecturer Mike Spong will direct the show.
The Jandoli Institute, TAPinto Greater Olean and SBU-TV will present two more live primary broadcasts – one on March 17 when voters in Arizona, Florida, Illinois and Ohio go to the polls, and one on April 28, when New York State, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island go to the polls.
The three Jandoli School entities collaborated in the fall to produce a live televised debate between state Senate candidates in New York’s 57th District and a live election night report.
