Journalism students from St. Bonaventure University will present a live televised report on Tuesday’s primary elections.
The broadcast, scheduled to begin at 10 p.m., is a joint project produced by the Jandoli Institute, TAPinto Greater Olean and SBU-TV, which will stream the report on its Facebook and YouTube pages.
Jandoli School of Communication students Joe Ceraulo, Mike Hogan and Hannah Legacy will deliver news and analysis of the primaries in Idaho, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, North Dakota and Washington.
Richard Lee, executive director of the Jandoli Institute and a Jandoli School associate professor, will host the program. Jandoli School lecturer Mike Spong will direct the show.
The Jandoli Institute, TAPinto Greater Olean and SBU-TV will present two more live primary broadcasts – one on March 17 when voters in Arizona, Florida, Illinois and Ohio go to the polls, and one on April 28, when New York State, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island go to the polls.
The three Jandoli School entities collaborated in the fall to produce a live televised debate between state Senate candidates in New York’s 57th District and a live election night report.
