Presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump will face off tomorrow in their first – and likely their only – debate before the Nov. 5 election.

Presidential debates always attract considerable attention, but this year’s exchange has a some unusual aspects.

Harris only became the Democratic Party’s nominee this summer. Part of her task tomorrow will be to define herself for voters.

Trump is the first former president to take part in a live televised debate for the White House. He is famously unscripted and unpredictable. Expectations and predictions for his debate strategy differ, and he could surprise everybody.

For voters, it’s time to sit back until tomorrow evening and heed the words of a great Temptations’ classic – “Get Ready.”
