Sharp Notes Monday: ‘Seasons of Love’

How do you measure a year?

Well, as Jonathan Larson wrote in “Seasons of Love,” the numbers tell us a year consists of “Five hundred, twenty five thousand, six hundred minutes.”

Because 2024 is a leap year, the minutes will be a bit higher, but the sentiments behind Larson’s song from Rent are the same.

A year is more than numbers. It’s daylights, sunsets, midnights, laughter, strife and more.

We hope you enjoyed our weekly Sharp Notes Monday posts in 2023 as we kick off the new year with “Seasons of Love.”

As part of our “Sharp Notes, Sharp Thoughts” music and social media project, we share a song every Monday to start your week.
