It has been almost a week since CNN’s Town Hall Meeting with former President Donald Trump, but the session still is drawing reactions and raising questions.
“It’s hard to remember a single media event—one actually organized by a news organization, at any rate — generating this much noise in quite a while,” Jon Allsop wrote in a Columbia Journalism Review article today.
Regardless of how one feels about the Town Hall, about the former president, or about CNN, the session was not a model for decorum and discourse.
So for this week’s Sharp Notes Monday, we turn to Warren Zevon and “Disorder in the House.”
As part of our “Sharp Notes, Sharp Thoughts” music and social media project, we share a song every Monday to start your week.
