
Just one week ago, Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest during a nationally televised football game and was rushed to a hospital as players from the Bills and their opponent, the Cincinnati Bengals, watched in shock and in tears.
Hamlin has made a remarkable recovery, but still has a ways to go. Nevertheless, his photos and messages on social media have been an inspiration not only for his teammates, but for all of the nation — a politically polarized nation that found a common bond in its hope and prayers for Hamlin.
