On Thursday, the U.S. Post Office will issue a new stamp featuring Pete Seeger.
Seeger’s career embodied a spirit of music and social justice. His catalog includes dozens of songs. We chose one his most popular, “Turn! Turn! Turn! (To Everything There Is a Season),” to start the week.
Adapted from the Book of Ecclesiastes, the song delivered a powerful message when it was released 60 years ago in 1962, and that message remains just as powerful today.
