The Jandoli Institute partnered with SBU-TV and TAPinto Greater Olean to produce a television program previewing the address that President Joe Biden will deliver to a Joint Session of Congress tonight.
St. Bonaventure University students Jaren Holmes and Julia Schneider hosted the show. Holmes and Schneider interviewed Mary Rose Kubal, chair of the university’s Political Science Department, and Richard Lee, an associate professor in the Jandoli School and executive director of the Jandoli Institute. Kubal and Lee discussed the topics the president is likely to address, as well as the role of speeches in American democracy.
“Once again our students and faculty developed an informative broadcast that will serve the public well heading into President Biden’s first address to Congress,” said Aaron Chimbel, dean of the Jandoli School. “I am proud of their dedication to providing our community with insightful journalism.”
