Presidential scholar and author Michael P. Riccards will provide weekly commentary and analysis on the 2020 presidential campaign for the Jandoli Institute this fall.
“Michael has written extensively about the presidency,” Jandoli Institute Executive Director Richard Lee said. “His insight and expertise will be a valuable addition to the institute as we follow the race to the White House.”
Riccards, a former college president, is the author of 30 books, including a two-volume history of the presidency, The Ferocious Engine of Democracy, and the recently published Woodrow Wilson as Commander-in-Chief. He has held numerous academic positions, including president of St. John’s College in New Mexico, Shepherd College in West Virginia and Fitchburg State College in Massachusetts.
