During the 2023-24 academic year, we each reached our 70th birthdays, and we decided the best way to celebrate was to create and fund a scholarship to support the next generation of journalists.

The Anne and Richard Lee Scholarship is presented annually to a student enrolled in an experiential journalism class or program with an emphasis on the written word.

1. Mail a check to St. Bonaventure University, PO Box 2519, St. Bonaventure, NY 14778. Make your checks payable to St. Bonaventure University. In memo area, write “Anne and Richard Lee Scholarship.”
2. Visit www.sbu.edu/donate. Click “Donate to a Single Purpose.” Under “Designation,” click the dropdown arrow and choose “Other.” Type “Anne and Richard Lee Scholarship.” Then click “Continue.”
