Is it a bird? Is it a plane?
No, this time it’s not Superman. It’s a drone. More than one. A sky full of the flying devices.
What started as reports of drones hovering over parts of New Jersey has spread. Drones have now been spotted in Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Connecticut and Ohio.
Federal agencies have said the drones do not pose security threats. But authorities are unable to say where the drones are coming from or who is responsible.
Adding to the mystery, the FBI and Department of Homeland Security have suggested that many of the drone sightings may just be small planes.
One thing is certain. There is something in the air, and that sounds like a good title for this week’s Sharp Notes Monday selection – Phil Collins’ 1981 debut single “In The Air Tonight.
