Sharp Notes Monday: ‘Anticipation’

By Richard Lee

After months of rallies, speeches, ads and a more, a presidential campaign that has included unprecedented events comes to a close tomorrow.

All polls indicate the election will be one of the closest presidential contests in U.S. history, so we can only anticipate the results.

That’s why Carly Simon’s “Anticipation” is this week’s Sharp Notes Monday selection.

Richard Lee, executive director of the Jandoli Institute, is a former music journalist who often writes about the intersection of music and current events.
