Sharp Notes Monday: ‘Moondance’

When Odysseus landed on the moon Thursday, the spacecraft became the first U.S. vehicle to set down on the lunar surface since 1972.

To mark the occasion, plenty of songs about the moon — or simply with moon in the title or lyrics — were available for this week’s Sharp Notes Monday selection.

We settled on the Van Morrison classic “Moondance” after learning that Odysseus had tipped over, perhaps from a too much lunar dancing.

As part of our “Sharp Notes, Sharp Thoughts” music and social media project, we share a song every Monday to start your week.
